Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid to Utilitystudiopath for an audit, listing review, SKU review, renewal briefing, or follow-up session. They do not apply to store fees Apple or Google charged you, or to work another contractor did after reading our briefing.
Timeframe
Ask in writing to info@utilitystudiopath.click. If the start week has not begun and we have not spent the deposit holding a calendar slot against another publisher, you may have a full refund of the deposit. Once the start week has begun, unused fees are handled as below.
Full or partial refund
Full refund of sums paid, if we cancel the engagement (illness, a conflict we should have seen, or an inability to receive your exports after a good-faith attempt).
Partial refund of the balance, not the deposit, if you cancel after week one has started but before the written briefing is delivered. The deposit pays for the reading already done and the week we did not offer to someone else.
No refund of the balance once the written briefing has been sent. The working session is part of that fee; missing it does not reopen the invoice.
Non-refundable items
The deposit after a start week has begun. Time already spent reconciling product IDs. A follow-up half-day that you attended. Third-party costs you incurred (your lawyer, your engineer’s time).
Process
Write to the office with the invoice number and whether you are cancelling, rescheduling, or claiming we failed to deliver. We reply within three working days with the sum, if any, we will return.
Processing time and method
Returned fees go back by the same bank path they arrived, usually within fourteen working days after we agree the sum. We do not return cash at the desk. We do not credit Apple or Google accounts.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may move a start week once, with seven days’ notice, at no extra fee, if the next open week works for both sides. A second move, or less than seven days’ notice, treats the deposit as used. We may move a week if the desk cannot sit; in that case your deposit remains and you choose a new week.
Deposits
Thirty percent holds the week. It is not a separate product. It becomes part of the engagement fee when work starts.
No-shows
If nobody from your side attends the working session and you did not write at least one working day ahead, we will not repeat the session for free. You still have the briefing. A replacement session is billed at the follow-up rate on the rates page.
Work already started
Reading exports, marking a listing, or drafting pages of a briefing is work already started. That time is not undone by a change of mind about the catalogue.
Materials
We do not buy materials on your behalf. There is nothing to restock. Your CSVs remain yours; we delete them on the privacy timetable unless a dispute over fees requires us to keep a copy until the dispute ends.
